About this house rental
The Auszeithaus Pilsum is an authentic “farmworker’s house,” of which there are still a few remaining in the pile-dwelling villages along the North Sea. In 2020–2021, it was painstakingly renovated into a cozy retreat and furnished with great attention to detail, resulting in a high-quality and tasteful interior.
With approximately 150 m² of living space, the Pilsum Retreat House welcomes up to 8 people and up to 2 dogs. Everything has been thought of in this vacation home: 5 bedrooms, a beautiful, spacious sunroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, an adjoining dining room, a play loft for the children, and two bathrooms—one of which is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with mobility aids.
The upstairs hallway features a workspace, a reading nook, and a children’s play area.
The garden features a lovely outdoor seating area with two beach chairs, two lounge chairs, and a large umbrella. In front of the sunroom is a wind-protected terrace, so meals can be enjoyed outdoors when the weather is nice. Of course, a grill is also available. The property offers parking for several vehicles (up to 4), including a visitor with a RV. A wall box for guests with electric cars is available. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed.
Wi-Fi, 3 smart TVs, and a CD/Bluetooth soundbar provide residents with all the technological amenities they need for communication, entertainment, or relaxation.
With approximately 34 square meters of floor space and a ceiling height of over 6 meters, the “Sweethuus”—the sauna house completed in 2022—welcomes guests to the Auszeithaus Pilsum. With a large sauna, infrared cabin, shower, seating areas, underfloor heating, and a pellet stove, there are no limits to your wellness and relaxation experience. A wonderful option that you can book as an add-on.
