From the top of its rocky outcrop, you can enjoy the lagoon-like landscapes of this local gem. Whether you enjoy hiking or leisurely strolls, you can wander through the steep, narrow streets of this hilltop village. Bages is also the starting point for numerous trails around the lagoon, right in the heart of the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park. You’re ideally located just 15 minutes from the center of Narbonne-la-Romaine and its St. Just Cathedral or its famous Les Halles market. Fontfroide Abbey, the beaches of Gruissan, and Sainte-Lucie Island are all nearby sites worth visiting. On-site, La Maisonnette is situated on a hill, allowing you to enjoy a direct view of the lake from the spacious terrace and living room. Imagine for a moment having breakfast or dinner at sunset while taking in this unique panorama. It is equipped with outdoor furniture. The cottage is situated in a very quiet area where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The cottage is on one level, with access to the gate via a small flight of stairs; it opens onto: - An air-conditioned living room with a seating area featuring a 2-person sofa bed (140x190 cm) for two additional guests, a TV, a dining table, and an open-concept, fully equipped kitchen (pod and filter coffee makers, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer). - Bedroom: two 80x200cm beds that can be pushed together to form a large double bed measuring 160x200cm. - Separate bathroom with direct access from the bedroom or living room: large shower, sink, and washing machine. - Separate toilet. Public parking is located down in the village; you may unload your luggage in front of the cottage upon arrival or departure.
