Unit 87 at Circa Lynwood

Good facilities and well equipped with

Saw cockroaches in the kitchen, food smell from other floors came through sheet extractor into our room. Winter Blankets was not clean and there was no heater in room.

Perfect location

Noisy. Tv don’t work. Security Rude.

Close to work. Well furnished.

Very dark and isolated. Wasn’t cleaned regularly.

Location was perfect for me as it was nearby my meetings the next day; The process of getting the key and getting to the unit was easy (the Guard from Reception walked me to the room and was very helpful and friendly). The facilities in the building really seems useful with the meeting rooms and the Laundry etc - I can see why my colleagues recommended I stay here.

There is something that seems to "trip" the whole unit's power (I suspect the fan in the bathroom). But the trip does not occur at the DB board inside the unit - it seems to be somewhere external. When we got to the unit the power was off, we called the owner of the unit and he responded promptly and had the power restored within minutes. Through the course of the evening, the power tripped twice more and came back on a minute later. I then switched off some of the lights including the bathroom light/fan, then it stopped tripping. Something that I was not aware of, of the building is that there is constant movement and the accompanying sounds (lift dinging and people chatting) till late night - and the lights from outside the windows meant that it was never really dark in the room, so I would not rebook here unfortunately.
