Hideaway with us, on Tamborine Mountain

The house is spacious with a great backyard for kids to play in.

We felt a bit worried sitting at the dining table that we were going to break the chairs, they are lovely but a bit old and wobbly.

Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were well maintained and appointed.

Cleanliness was not great. Multiple dead bugs on the floor. Pool seems to have been heated in the past and this would have been fantastic. It was very cold. Modem for wi-fi wasn't working, however our phone data covered the stay.

Beautiful property and location. Driving in and out to the town of Tamborine Mountain was stunning. The little extras of the coffee machine, the comfortable beds and extra blankets everywhere is a lovely touch. We loved exploring the property and finding the little hidden gems in the mini forest at the back of the property. Was a great property that suited the family. The price point for the stay was terrific and we would happily stay again! The check in and out was easy and simple and the hosts were lovely and easy to reach if any questions came up. Thanks for having us!

Very small things. Fire place was damaged and was a hazard to children, especially for younger children who can’t comprehend not touching broken glass. We did require to block off the area by shuffling furnishings. A request was placed for a porta cot. Upon arrival, we seen one in the master walk in and thought they must’ve been able to accommodate after all. It was in fact broken. We were able to pick one up locally so not a big concern. But I’d recommend removing damaged items to avoid confusion.

Location was beautiful and spacious but cleaners need firing Wifi works well, plenty provision of toilet paper and shampoo and conditioner plus handwash

The basic info displayed has not been updated in years - no fountain and pool not heated, plus there are still Covid QR sign in posters - needs to be addressed. Easter egg rubbish behind TV, rubbish under couches and beds, wet colander in cupboard, not a lot of decent basics to use in kitchen, whole place needs a huge deep clean. Even the dishwasher bottom was full of lost cutlery and pieces of corn?!! Bathrooms nicely renovated but ensuite glass door of shower leaks and you can't place a mat within the swing of the door as it won't open and the other shower tap is held on with zip ties. Again needs a deeps clean as the grout in floor is very dirty. Half the blinds don't open and are covered in 3 year's worth of dust. Security on bathrooms but not most living spaces, so can't leave open for air. Was quite warm while we were there, but unfortunately the fans were also covered in layers of dust, so couldn't use. There was air con, but we hate and don't touch as have seen filters not cleaned in plenty places. Pool is not heated, stinks and murky - you cannot swim in it. Beautiful shell of a place in a fantastic location, but needs a lot of attention. Cheap coffee machine shoved in kitchen, but not even clean from last use so we didn't bother touching. Loved the 'space' but not value for $ and not somewhere we would rush back to. Beautiful expensive property but has not had any love or $ poured into it. Not worth the $ per night as cannot claim 'luxury'
