Encanto Lodge

I truly struck gold with Encanto. The location was perfect and weirdly central to everything I wanted. While the breakfast was good it is quite limited as it is a set menu. The staff could not be more perfect, they were so responsive and felt genuinely kind. The space is gorgeous for pictures for my girlies that love an aesthetic spot. Water pressure was to die for. The wifi was also great.

The breakfast could be more expansive. The drain in my shower also didn’t go down as quickly as I would have liked but that is easily remedied.

Hospitable staff, good size room and amenities

There was black mold on the ceiling of my room and termites close to the doorstep. If I wasn’t staying for just one night, I would have considered it a health and safety issue. I also brought both things to the attention of front desk. It was a perfect stay otherwise.

Still a great location (that doesn't change). The complimentary breakfast has always been decent but it is also more timely now.

Unfortunately, the rooms had an odour that would not be shaken off even after we requested air fresheners. Some of the coverings for the wall sockets are already coming off which is a shame cos they are quite nice. Had a problem with the water heater throughout the first day. The staff said she would fix it but never did before closing for the day and didn't hand the case over to the next shift. Overalll, the standards are falling and the price is rising. That is not a great combo.
