Fes Medina Vibes Hostel

Location was superb. 3 to 4 minute walk from Madarsa by inania. I covered Inania Attarin Najjarin Qaraween Souq and two leather Tennaries in one day because of best location. Plenty of street and Moroccan food around. Aziza and Mustafa were very supportive. Aziza came to pick me at blue gate. They instantly replied to my WhatsApp messages. Beautiful but old building. Rooftop.

If you have problem in knee avoid dorms in upper floor. Building is a slightly dysfunctional. But all this in 4 Canadian dollar 2 Euros. City tax they charged was more than mentioned on booking.com

Ho soggiornato in questo ostello a Fes e mi sono trovata molto bene. Il punto di forza è sicuramente lo staff: tutti sono stati estremamente gentili, disponibili e professionali. Mi hanno dato ottimi consigli su cosa visitare, come muovermi in città e mi hanno aiutata in ogni momento del soggiorno. La posizione è eccellente, molto vicina all’ingresso della Medina antica, il che rende facile visitare le principali attrazioni a piedi. Inoltre, la zona mi è sembrata sicura e tranquilla. Consiglio questo ostello a chiunque voglia visitare Fes e vivere un’esperienza piacevole e senza preoccupazioni.

Мустафа и Азиза были невероятно добрыми, не беспокоили меня и предоставили все условия, чтобы «мой Фес» был просто невероятным. Это все что мне нужно, на самом деле, потому что я долго путешествую с рюкзаком). Горячий душ, удобная кровать, добрые люди вокруг, немного кухонных принадлежностей и силы, чтобы исследовать незабываемый Фес. Жилье недалеко от выхода из медины, что очень удобно. Сначала не могла найти., как и многие, запутавшиеся в медине). Азиза встретила меня. Рядом автовокзал. Куча автобусов в любые направления. Терраса на крыше супер!

The private room was clean and basic but fine for the price (have not seen the dorms). The bed had clean sheets, towels were provided, and there were plenty of blankets available in case you feel cold as there is no air con. The hostel has a nice terrace that would probably be very pleasant in warmer months.

The most important issue is that the name and address shown on Booking.com are incorrect. The place is actually called Fes Hostel, and there are signs in some streets pointing to it—those are the directions you should follow. Do not rely on the address on Booking or Google Maps, as it is misleading. The room was quite cold and dark, with only small high windows that don’t let sunlight in. The shower didn’t drain properly, and the room is located right at the entrance next to reception, so it can get noisy if there are other guests. Also, the staff do not speak English (or Spanish). Has it met my expectations based on a +9 rating at the time of booking? It has not.
