Charming Cozy 2 br 1 ba apt near Oak Park fast wifi near transportation

It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great very nice neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants

This was a fantastic place to stay for an extended (10 day) visit (my teenage twin sons and me)! It was within easy driving distance to Oak Park, where we were re-connecting with many family and friends. Jessica communicated entirely through the booking.com app, giving complete instructions, rules and guidelines for our stay -- she definitely covered all the bases! The building uses smart locks, so no keys are needed -- you get all your entry info the day of your arrival. The place was absolutely spotless and comfortable. It's like staying at a friend's apartment (without the friend!) -- pretty much all you would need for an extended stay is there (laundry facilities, equipped kitchen, iron and ironing board, TV, wifi, etc). That said, you are expected to treat the place with care, respect the other guests in other units, and leave it in tidied condition upon your departure, per Jessica's instructions. Some guests got a garage space, but we got parking passes for on-street parking -- we had no problem finding parking around the block of the apartment during our stay. We will definitely be reaching out to Jessica next summer when planning next year's Chicago trip. Thank you so much, Jessica and Jaime!

This isn't really a "didn't like". One of my sons apparently had a contact dermatitis allergic reaction after sleeping in his wonderfully made and comfy bed. (His rash was everywhere his skin was exposed after sleeping). That's nothing you can predict, of course, and our solution was to borrow from sheets from our friends and let him sleep on the couch for the rest of our stay. So, if you are someone who has known allergies/sensitivities to many perfumes and detergents, maybe bring a set of sheets from home, just in case.

I loved my stay here. It was quiet, clean, and equipped with everything needed to feel like I was at home. Plenty of kitchen amenities, parking, (if you are familiar with city parking that is- choose the E/W streets), and everything I needed to work remotely. The host Jessica was quite helpful and responded quickly, even providing laundry on-site. Almost too good to be true.

The floor squeaked. That's it.

Location, space is decent for 4.

The matresses need updating, the hosts are picky, the neighbors are noisy. One had loud music on until midnight, another decided to mow the lawn at 6 am the following day. Laundry “8 am to 8 pm” per house rules and you can’t do laundry and have dinner because they lock you out of it. And the basement neighbors also use your assigned washer/dryer. Hosts need to learn what hosting actually means. In summer all windows should open. A/c is also noisy.
