Country cottage hot tub with gazebo peaceful

The cottage was really nice with unusual fittings, pictures etc. Great shower room. Spacious. Gazebo/ hot tub at additional cost, which wasn't clarified until days before we arrived. Small private back garden.

We incurred communication issues which resulted in us arriving with no access code to property, 2 calls to Denmark and a rude local woman who insinuated the problem was mine but reluctantly gave us the code. An unpleasant start to our holiday. It's a steep stair to upstairs bedroom, not for tall people. There was a silver snail track on sitting room rug, on carpet in kitchen area and also over side & back of a sofa. Never incurred the culprit, so maybe old, but nonetheless disconcerting. In that case one would have expected it to have been dealt with prior to our arrival, it was quite noticeable.
