The hotel is ideally located in the pedestrian area of Yuzhong District, around a 500-metre walk from Linjiangmen Metro Station.
The room on the 16th floor was undoubtedly the highlight of the stay, offering impressive city views and featuring a bathtub positioned beside the window bay next to the king-size bed — a striking setup that makes the most of Chongqing’s skyline. Very comfortable bedding.
The staff were friendly, although there seemed to be some confusion regarding my booking, which included breakfast.
Overall, the property’s main strength is clearly the room experience and the views, which largely deliver what one would hope for when staying in this part of Chongqing.
Breakfast itself was fairly basic, but OK for a short stay. Skip it if you must.
It is probably for the best that the gym was not highlighted on the Booking.com listing, as the facility was extremely limited and difficult to genuinely describe as a gym.
