Heartland suites

We loved the location and walking distance to the heart of Gettysburg!

Upon walking into the room, the bathroom was filled with flies. I killed 6. The windows are filthy and full of cobwebs. The blinds didn’t work.

Beautiful. Great location

Nothing

Conveniently located, clean, quiet, perfect space

It was all great!

The place was very clean. The room was large and spacious and had everything a guest could need, including a keurig and some pods! The bed was comfortable and had comfortable couches and chairs for sitting.

This place calls itself "Heartland Suites - Bed and Breakfast." The "bed" was fine. The "breakfast" left a lot to be disired. When we got there, we were met by a woman who told us that breakfast was not on site, but at the diner across the parking lot. She told us that there are two $10 vouchers in a packet and that most items on the menu were under $10. When my wife and I travel via B&B, one of our favorite things is the morning breakfast with the owners and other guests. When we had to go to the diner... meh... ok. The diner screwed up my coffee, my order, the check, comped NOTHING, and then when we went to pay, the vouchers were a $10 and a $5. It wasn't even what they said. Don't go to the diner. The food isn't good. The coffee isn't good, and the service wasn't good. Both the B&B and the diner are managed by the same guy. When I complained to the manager, he told me I "should've read the fine print. We don't market ourselves as a Bed & Breakfast." I pointed to the sign out in front of their establishment that said, "Heartland Suites - Bed and Breakfast" and walked away. I'm done with these people.
