The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. The AC worked well and we stayed cool. We liked the keycard access to the facility and rooms. The bathroom and shower are fantastic as well as the water pressure. The heartland diner right behind the house had great food, fair pricing, and friendly staff. We ended up eating there for pretty much all our meals being within walking distance sharing the same parking lot.
We did not like not having a microwave in our room, but we understand it is an old house and maybe it just isn't viable. There is a shared microwave in the hall if you need to warm up leftovers like we did.
