We had a lovely stay in the very heart of Borno, overlooking the main square. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, and communication with the host was excellent. The square can be lively and a little noisy in the evenings, with music, people gathering and children playing, but for us this was part of the charm and made the atmosphere feel very authentic. The apartment is in a beautifully renovated old building, so there is no lift. This may be worth considering for guests who need easy access, but it was no problem for us travelling with two independent children aged 4 and 7. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a charming location.

The only thing that surprised us was that bed linen was offered as an optional extra – guests can either bring their own or pay an additional fee to use the provided linen. This was clearly stated in the Booking.com description, so it was really our oversight rather than an issue with the accommodation. We have used Booking.com for several years, but this was the first time we had come across this type of arrangement.

Bell'appartamento in un palazzo storico, recentemente ristrutturato in centro al paese di Borno. Comodo per accedere a tutti i servizi, negozi, ristoranti e come base di partenza per belle passeggiate nei boschi senza utilizzare l'auto.
