A Stay I Will Never Forget – CPD Hostel, Arambol The truth is, I will never forget my stay at CPD Hostel near Arambol Beach. I am a solo traveler who set out on my journey with very little money. Finding a place that is truly budget-friendly these days is extremely difficult — especially for someone traveling alone. That is why my experience at CPD Hostel feels so special. The location is very easy to find. You just walk about 50 meters through the small road opposite Cookie Walla Café on Arambol Beach Road, and you reach the hostel without any trouble. When I checked Booking.com, CPD Hostel was the cheapest option among all hostels in Arambol. After reading some negative reviews, I arrived with a lot of apprehension. I decided to visit in person and then choose whether to stay or not. What I found completely surprised me — the reality was totally different from what I had read online. Later, I realized that some people from other hostels were deliberately giving CPD Hostel very low ratings and posting fake reviews to discourage travelers. That is the only reason I am writing this review in such detail — to help genuine budget solo travelers like me. For just ₹150 per day, I got a comfortable bed with a cotton mattress in a neatly arranged dorm room that accommodates 8 people. Each room has an attached, very clean Western bathroom, which is rare at this price. There is also a washing area, cooking facility, and even a deluxe double room for ₹499 that can comfortably accommodate two people. The floor has a balcony, and the rooftop is beautiful — with a smoking area, open space, and a yoga shala. I practiced yoga and meditation there every morning, which was deeply peaceful. Since food in Arambol is quite expensive and I was traveling with limited money, I bought two eggs and made bread omelet and tea myself — which made a big difference for me. I met many long-term solo travelers staying here for ₹3000 per month, and some even for ₹99 per day.
