The Colony La Ventana

Fran y el resto del personal fueron muy amables y atentos durante toda nuestra estancia. Nos ayudaron con recomendaciones y con un contratiempo que tuvimos con las fechas. La habitación estaba muy limpia y la cama era muy cómoda. La terraza del hotel es super agradable con la piscina, zona de gimnasio y la cocina. Nos encantó!

Todo nos gusto

La ubicación es buena, el cuarto amplio. El lugar es muy amplio y puedes convivir con otros huéspedes. Estuvimos poco tiempo porque teníamos safari reservado

Había una fuga en la regadera y otros huéspedes nos sugirieron no tomar agua porque se habían enfermado.

The property was decent and our two bedroom with private bathroom was nice. On occasion the electricity would go out but it always came back before we went to sleep. Having working A/C is wonderful. The free water dispenser was a plus. And last, we met some very cool guests there and enjoyed their company and going to dinner with them.

The worst part was that I couldn't cancel my reservations. I had found another place that I liked better but I couldn't go there because this hostel would not allow me to cancel my reservations. I tried to cancel online, which has always worked before. Booking.com tried to cancel on my behalf. I visited the hostel in person 3 months prior and could not find the manager and last, I wrote and mailed a letter to request cancelation. None of these tactics worked. Thankfully, Booking.com no longer has them on their website according to the onsite manager.

There was free drinking water

I just think there is a disconnect between the price and what you get. The ceiling fan was broken, the bathroom finishes felt unfinished (but not in an intentional way), the pool was filthy, the sheets were like the cheapest ones you get at Chedraui. If I had paid about half of what I did I’d consider it perfectly fine.
