Great location for Estoril Beach (less than 5 minutes away) and for the center of Sal Rei! Jean Luc’s welcome drink (a caipirinha) on the first day, shared with the other guests arriving that day, really makes you feel welcome.

We asked Jean Luc to book a tour for us, and he arranged a full-day excursion with lunch in the south of the island. The tour was very good, and we visited some beautiful places that are only accessible by 4x4. However, we would have liked to visit Santa Monica and Varandinha beaches, and we later realized that those are only included in the half-day tours. It would have been helpful if Jean Luc had clearly explained the differences between the two types of excursions and the places included, so we could have chosen more appropriately. I believe it was mainly a communication issue, but since this was on the day before we left, we didn’t have the chance to visit those beaches that we really wanted to see.

Je recommande vivement cette guesthouse, elle est super bien située avec pleins de commerces, restaurants à proximité et la plage à même pas 5 minutes. Mention spéciale pour les hôtes Nathalie et Jean Philippe qui étaient aux petits soins, on s’y sent vraiment comme à la maison. Ils n’hésiteront pas à vous partager des adresses pépites sur l’île.
