Excellent value, friendly staff and a quieter base in Patan
I stayed at Sagarmatha Apartment twice and had a great stay both times. The staff are very friendly and the accommodation is comfortable. I prefer staying in this part of Patan to Thamel, as it’s quieter but still has plenty of nice cafés and restaurants nearby.
The rooftop is a lovely place to spend time, and I had breakfast there most days. There’s also a cinema room, karaoke room and gym, while free laundry is another useful bonus. Considering the price, the comfort and facilities make this excellent value for money. I’d happily stay again.

The reception was excellent. I had the host present to welcome me and had a deep meaningful conversation I enjoyed. The workers were very friendly and welcoming.
A very friendly dog which just popped up behind me without been aware. I was startled at first because I am not a dog person but relaxed a few minutes later because it was so friendly and lovely and welcoming.
