Berber Family

Don't hesitate... this is a great place in a traditional Berber village.!! Brahim has built a beautiful house to host guests. He has gone to great lengths to create a comfortable environment: big bright rooms, comfy beds with clean sheets and warm soft blankets. Showers with very hot water and good pressure. The place is impeccably clean and well looked after. Brahim is a wealth of knowledge on Berber culture and is also well travelled. I arrived late at night with my motorbike and received a warm welcome and some delicious soup. If you contact him ahead of time his wife will freshly prepare some delicious Moroccan cuisine of your choice. There is ample secure parking for numerous motorbikes or a couple of cars. It would be a brilliant place for a group of adventure motorbikers to rest, get clean and recover 😉 A few km below the village is a brand new sealed mountain road linking the Todra & Dades gorges - a beautiful ride which makes several gorge loops possible.

We had a truly amazing and authentic experience in this mountain village. Our host was incredibly friendly and shared many interesting stories and insights about the local area and culture. He prepared a delicious homemade dinner (couscous). Although the place is still being completed, it was very comfortable and perfectly suited to our needs as we were traveling by bicycle. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying. In the morning, our host took us to the local market and showed us around the village, which gave us a wonderful opportunity to experience everyday local life. It made our stay even more special. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine and memorable experience.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et l'hospitalité de notre hôte Brahim. Celui-ci parle très bien français, est très intelligent et érudit (Grand admirateur de Victor Hugo), et nos conversations étaient passionnantes. Nous sommes deux couples qui voyageons au Maroc à vélo, et les deux femmes ont été conviées à assister à une petite fête organisée par la jeune fille de Brahim et ses amies, avant que nous dégustions tous le couscous cuisiné par l'épouse de Brahim. La maison est vaste et confortable. Une très sympathique adresse.
