About this house rental
Welcome to The Duchess! My husband and I named our home after our first dog together. We wanted to give people with furry friends a place to enjoy. Our charming space seamlessly blends vintage aesthetics with modern comfort. Relax in the tastefully decorated living area or prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Explore nearby shops and restaurants, ensuring a delightful experience. Whether you are here for work, vacation or events, you`ll find our home is exactly what you need.
-Historic Home built in 1920.
- 1 car driveway + street parking available
- Furniture thoughtfully Curated & NOT from Ikea.
- Single level home, but 4 steps up to the doorway.
-Home has had bathroom and kitchen updates
-Original Fireplace (not functional but great to look at )
-Fully fenced backyard (rubber mulch on half, rock on other half )
-Covered back deck with seating
-Washer/Dryer
-Original wood floors
-55 in TVs in bedrooms and living room
-A/C unit is outside master bedroom windows, you can hear when it turns on , for transparency
**if you have pet allergies, this is not the home for you. Please look for non pet friendly homes to better help accommodate your allergies. We just want all of our guests to be as comfortable as possible**in

3. Pets are must be vaccinated and on flea and tick prevention.
4. There is no cleaning fee, however, if our home is not upkept or treated with respect there will be a cleaning fee of $100
5. Quiet hours are here to keep our neighbors happy :)
6. Clean up after your pets (doggy bags will be provided)
7. Let host know IMMEDIATELY if something gets damaged or ruined during your stay. Help us keep our home as amazing as possible for all guests.

The house is very welcoming and comfortable. The location is perfect and close to restaurants, shops and bars both in the Park and King area and close to Five Points and Avondale. It is very pet friendly. One detail that I noticed and appreciated greatly is that they took the time to make sure there were no gaps in the outside fencing for little dogs. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. A great stay- thank you!
