Creek Front Country Home with private hiking trails

Welcome to this charming waterfront farmhouse in New Castle, Va. that is situated on a 136 acre farm. This property offers 3 bedrooms-one with a queen size bed, one with two twin beds, and one with a full bed with it’s own private bathroom. This bathroom has a walk in shower and the common area bathroom has a shower-tub including several amenities. Plus, there’s an additional comfy sofa bed in the large living room space that can sleep two. Additionally, a fully equipped eat in country kitchen with coffee bar. All you need to bring is your favorite foods, and when the weather is nice you can enjoy your coffee or dine on the gorgeous wrap around porches overlooking the creek. If you like fishing and water activities this property has several miles of creek running through it. Numerous waterfowl and whitetail deer are attracted to this property including the beautiful bald eagles and blue herons. If photography is your passion, you won’t be disappointed!In the evenings sit outside by the fire pit and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful country setting. This property is just 15-20 minutes away from Dragon’s Tooth and McAfee’s Knob Trailheads. Our property has several walking/hiking trails throughout the farm property and in the forest. Private hiking,fishing and camping/picnic area available with a signed waiver at check in. We allow 2 dogs per stay provided they are always leased when outdoors and please clean up after them while in the area around the house.
