Ongi etorri Artekobordan! Welcome to Artekoborda, a 19th-century Basque farmhouse that was completely renovated in 2023.
A swimming pool, luxury amenities, elegant decor, and a relaxing view of the Basque hills await you. Set in the heart of a 35-hectare estate and offering 300 m² of living space, the Artekoborda farmhouse is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful vacation while staying close to the must-see destinations of the Basque Country: you’re 25 minutes from Biarritz, 20 minutes from Saint-Jean-de-Luz and La Rhune, 5 minutes from Espelette, 10 minutes from Ainhoa and the Spanish border, and just a few kilometers from Cambo-les-Bains. Just 2 km from the house, Lake Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle awaits you with its family-friendly activities.
We’ve thought of everything to ensure you have an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Basque hills!
On the first floor, a large 82-square-meter living room offers various relaxation areas, equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth sound system, and direct access to the pool.
The fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, a wide variety of dishes and utensils, etc.) features a breakfast bar that opens onto the living-dining area. For family meals, you can gather around the large, generously sized farmhouse table.
The pantry, adjacent to the kitchen, is also fully equipped with: 2 large-capacity refrigerators, 1 freezer with drawers, a second dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer, an utility sink, a countertop, and cabinets.
Across from the wooden staircase leading upstairs, you’ll find a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The upper floor consists of 5 cozy and very comfortable bedrooms: three of them are equipped with 160-cm queen-size beds, while the other two each have two 90-cm beds that can be pushed together to create larger sleeping areas. All bedrooms feature high-quality bedding and offer ample storage space for your personal belongings.
In the center of the floor: a bathroom with a toilet and a shower room with a toilet. Functional and decorated with wood and tile, you’ll appreciate their layout and amenities.
You can also enjoy a home office equipped for remote work (ultra-high-speed internet), complete with a sofa and a bookshelf stocked with a selection of reading material.
The space is complemented by a charming mezzanine overlooking the large entryway and the living room’s stone wall. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a moment of tranquility with a drink and a book!
Baby gear is available for your children: a high chair with a reclining, height-adjustable tray, a travel crib (sheets available upon request), a changing table, and a baby bathtub.
Coffee pods and local specialties will be waiting for you upon your arrival. The beds will be made, and linens and towels will be provided, along with toiletries and hair dryers in the bathrooms.
You’ll have access to high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house and on the terraces.

Accessible through the French doors of the living-dining room, another terrace facing due south awaits you: a large table for 10 to 12 guests and outdoor furniture with plush cushions.
Finally, in a small stone outbuilding, discover the traditional bread oven where you can bake pizzas, roast potatoes over an open fire, or, of course, make talo (traditional Basque corn flatbreads). A charcoal grill is also available for your use.
