Elisabeth and Guy (local press correspondents, perfect ambassadors for their region and its history) welcome you to a fully renovated 1950s Morvan-style house, typical of the 1950s, nestled on the roadside at the edge of a picturesque little village with old-world charm (a designated Cluniac site). The surrounding area is beautiful, nestled in a verdant valley where a fish-filled river flows, at the foot of a south-facing hill overlooking a vast plateau of fields and pastures (home to the famous and peaceful Charolais cows in season). Located in the heart of the Morvan Regional Natural Park and its magnificent, perfectly preserved countryside (largely protected as a ZNIEFF for its rich flora and fauna), this sublime landscape of gentle mountains combines agriculture and nature, between hedged meadows, rivers, and vast wild forests (accessible just a stone's throw away), perfect for relaxing walks or bike rides. Comfortable cottage. A charming, rustic, and vintage country style that offers a complete change of scenery. A pleasant, enclosed, flower-filled courtyard (gravel) features a large, naturally shaded terrace under a lovely linden tree, offering beautiful, unobstructed views of the meadows and the gentle surrounding countryside, with the famous "Signal d'Uchon" mountain ("the Pearl of the Morvan") in the background. Guests have access to the owners' large, well-maintained lawn and landscaped grounds (1500m²) nestled behind the house (a perfect, safe play area for children).
