A Room on the Peninsula

Nice and comfortable bed, the whole room was nice and clean, modern,high quality towels etc Location for us was great, close to the pine forest just in Europe.

No aircon, unfortunately we arrived on a gloriously warm day and the afternoon sun meant our room was already hot - very hard to cool down.

Beautiful location in a lovely area. New accommodation.

The weather was warm and there was only one window so it was hot in the evening when sleeping. Portable upright fan was available but no air con.

Aesthetically pleasing accommodation with easy parking and an ideal location. Sufficient hangers and closet space, plus a small laundry rack, were also provided. Nadia from BCR Team was very responsive, helpful and quick to resolve issues when they arose. We appreciated her thoughtful gesture of providing wine and chocolate as an apology for the issues we experienced.

Unfortunately, we experienced several issues during our stay. Check-in initially had a technical issue, and on arrival the power points weren’t working, there was water pooled in the fridge from the freezer defrosting which caused an unpleasant smell, and there was no hot water. The hot water took several hours to return. The power also tripped twice during our stay when using the heater, kettle and other appliances. A property manager/electrician identified that the circuit breaker was too small for the load, but this couldn’t be fixed during our stay. An extension cord connected to the main house was provided for the kettle instead. The kitchenette also had limited bench space and the place only one sink, which made preparing food and washing dishes a little inconvenient. The repeated power and hot water issues were inconvenient.
