Excellent location, more comfortable than any hotel room uncoils have booked!
Very clean, well appointed apartment in a residential tower block that includes a 24/7 doorman, a small rooftop pool, sauna and small gym (no weights however). A small bakery, supermarket, ice cream shop, restaurant are located around the base of the building and the beach and restaurants are a 3 minute walk. I felt very safe. Other amenities included a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and good quality LG televisions. The excellent medium firm double box spring ensured a good night’s sleep.
Communication was mostly via WhatsApp and a bit of Google translate and my spotty Spanish due to my inability to speak Portuguese- this is a place for Brasileros and not accustomed to a lot of foreign tourists. There was a brief initial confusion about which apartment I needed to be, but the hosts were very responsive to any questioms I had via phone or WhatsApp, and sorted out registration at the front desk within 10 minutes of my arrival.
