ICONIA Zamalek - Boutique Stay & Wellness Residences

The location was definitely the highlight. It's within walking distance of a great area with lots of restaurants, and the property itself has a courtyard with several restaurant options, which was very convenient.

Unfortunately, this wasn't one of my favorite stays. The room and hallwaysl felt quite dated and dingy. Staff seemed largely absent, and there was also a language barrier that made getting basic information difficult when we did find someone—we even had trouble figuring out where the pool was. Once we found it, the pool area itself felt very sterile and uninviting. For me, the location was the main positive, but overall I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The suite was comfortable and clean. The building and general area were safe and had all the needed facilities (bank, grocery, restaurants). The staff were very helpful and always responsive. I would happily stay again at Iconia for any future visits.

No dislikes. Just a small suggestion would be to add more towel hooks in the bathroom (outside the shower area).
