Sunrise Ocean Hotel & Rooftop Bar

We had a very good stay at Sunrise Ocean Hotel Cat Ba. Our suite was big and spacious, and the highlight was definitely the gorgeous view from the room — absolutely beautiful! The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It was also very convenient that we could rent a scooter directly from the hotel, which made exploring Cat Ba much easier. Overall, considering it’s a 2-star hotel, we were very satisfied. Great view, spacious room, friendly staff, and good value. 9/10!

The only negative was the bathtub. It was not very comfortable to use and was not in particularly good condition. This is one area that could definitely use some improvement. The breakfast is very poor

Handy to the port for day trips. Room good size and comfortable beds. Staff helpful with organising taxis and trips. We still managed to walk to town 10- 15mins many times to eat and visit the nicer resort beaches closer to town.

Our view was of a cliff face unless we went on to the balcony. No breeze meant it was a bit dank and we struggled to dry our wet things. Breakfast wasnt great. The bain marie items seemed overcooked and the salad looked wilted. Drain smell in bathroom unless you kept the little lid on it.

Roof top terrace is very nice place to hang out! Kids liked the pool table. Check in was smooth.

Door didn’t close if not locked. We had better breakfast.

El baño, era deplorable y estaba super sucio. No funcionaba bien la ducha y además se salía el agua. Daba bastante repelús
