Bem localizado, fora da confusão do centro do Funchal. Supermercados e outros serviços próximos. Rapidamente consegue aceder às principais vias rodoviárias. Estacionamento fácil. Zona tranquila para dormir. Cama bastante confortável. Vista muito boa para o oceano! Adorámos o bolo de mel de cana oferecido por cortesia, juntamente com o mini vinho da Madeira.

Não fomos informados de que o edifício tinha caixote grande do lixo interno e que podíamos lá deixar os sacos. Tentámos uma vez na rua, mas andei demasiado tempo com o lixo na mão, tive que o colocar num caixote pequeno. Faltaram sacos suplentes de lixo para utilizarmos, mas demos um jeito.

Elio is an amazing host! My flight arrived late, but he waited for me to check in. I also got lost, and he kindly met me halfway to help me find the apartment. Very welcoming, kind, and hospitable. Highly recommend!

Very clean and comfortable apartment with all facilities for cooking and washing machine. Great shower with hot water. Close to Forum Shopping Centre for supermarket etc.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and it had almost everything we needed. The host helped us enter the apartment easily, and special thanks to Elio for coming to the apartment when we forgot our belongings inside after we had already checked out and were in a hurry to get to the airport.

The apartment had almost everything we needed, except glasses and cutlery. We struggled to eat without spoons, forks, or knives. Also, the address provided on Booking.com led us to a different building, not Avila Holiday Apartments. It would be helpful if the advertisement mentioned “Sofia Residence” to make the location easier to find.
