1860 Luxury Accommodation

On arrival, we couldn't get in ,came back later ,still couldn't get in ,door was supposed to be open , phoned owner, left a message ,then found a later email regarding location of a key safe ,so we could enter It was a very dismal day ,so cabin looked very dark and was very cold inside .A disappointing arrival Perhaps someone could have put some lights /heating on for our arrival 🤔 After we put some lights on and lit the fire and also put heaters on it took a while to warm the cabin up The toilet was an issue as the water ran all night ! Bed was very comfortable and cabin very clean We laughed as there was a welcome letter addressed to us ( but not our name ) Enjoyed the open fire but the note to only use it at night and not during the day was unexpected , (as wood was expensive and we should remember that the owner was reminding us to be aware they were thinking of the envoirmen t and being sustainable ? ) Only one packet of wood supplied for the two nights ? As the weather was so bad and skies so dark and continual heavy rain was looking forward to relaxing , laying on the couch in front of an open fire and reading a book but ?? ( don't use their wood ) All in all ,we were disappointed, and would not have described 1860 as luxury
