Private Pool 4BR Villa Kari next to Rawai Beach

The villa is spacious and has a private outdoor area, which is nice for relaxing. The property has potential and could be very comfortable with some improvements and better maintenance.

The villa feels quite old and could be better maintained. There were stains on the walls, poorly maintained plants, and the shower water did not drain properly. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, while the towels were old, smelly and did not seem properly washed. The kitchen was also not very well equipped. There were no basic necessities provided, such as soap, shampoo, shower gel, dishwashing liquid, sponges, cleaning cloths, kitchen towels, toilet paper, detergent or mosquito repellent, so we had to buy all the essentials ourselves. The Wi-Fi was very slow and frequently disconnected. We also had to catch 3–4 large spiders inside the villa. The location was not ideal for us as it is in a less touristy area with relatively few restaurants and shops nearby. The closest night market had a very limited choice of food, and there is no nearby beach that is convenient for swimming. A cat also came to the villa every day asking for food and attention and trying to enter the house. We were not sure whether it belonged to someone or was a stray. There were also quite a lot of house rules regarding cleaning, including additional fees if the property is left dirty or dishes are not washed. Electricity is charged separately at 8 THB per unit, which we found quite expensive.

Mooie ruime kamers met ieder een eigen badkamer! Fijn om zo even te acclimatiseren.

Er waren wat kastjes verouderd maar niet storend. We hadden een enorm grote spin in het huisje. Daarmee zijn we niet heel snel geholpen. Na herhaaldelijk vragen kregen we een insectenspray. Niet heel fijn om zonder ervaring zelf te vangen want de huntmanspin is bizar snel.
