The room itself was mostly fine. Conveniently located for skiing. It was fairly clean and adequately equipped with crockery, cutlery, a chopping board, toilet paper and bin bags. We didn’t partake in the food on offer so can’t comment on that. It was easy to reach and communicate with the host. Sam pokój był w większości w porządku. Dobra lokalizacja na narty. Był dość czysty i odpowiednio wyposażony w naczynia, sztućce, deskę do krojenia, papier toaletowy oraz worki na śmieci. Nie stołowaliśmy się tym razem w tym obiekcie więc nie mogę skomentować. Komunikacja z właścicielem pokoju była łatwa.

The room is not serviced during your stay, so rubbish is not collected and the cleaners we encountered in the corridor refused to take our rubbish bags. We also encountered many silverfish in the bathroom, particularly at night, which was unpleasant. Unfortunately, the location and noise levels were a major issue. Being front-facing, we could clearly hear hotel staff smoking outside the main hotel entrance beneath our window — loudly swearing and bad-mouthing guests, even with the window closed. In addition, extremely loud disco music and advertising blasted from the resort stage opposite from 9am to 8pm daily, clearly audible inside the room with windows shut. What truly let this place down was the staff. Multiple staff members were disengaged, unhelpful and openly hostile. A cleaner refused to remove our rubbish while lying on the corridor floor playing on her phone. A receptionist could not give basic directions to a major resort attraction and showed no initiative to help. Staff were frequently on their phones, including security lounging on guest furniture with his feet up on a lobby armchair and staff ignoring piles of dirty glasses the whole day on the bar counter. The bar remained mainly closed during our stay despite it being the NYE period. Most concerning, the pool lifeguard left me alone in the pool with my toddler to resolve a personal matter (her ski pass wasn’t working!) and, when she returned, continued using her phone instead of supervising children. Overall, there was a consistent lack of professionalism, basic courtesy and guest care. The staff appeared bored, unmotivated and excessively distracted by their personal phones, which seriously impacted the quality and safety of the stay. I have reported this to the host but I was told it wasn’t the matter of their concern as they only own the room in the building. I do feel they should make it a priority to help whoever manages this hotel to improve staff issues and fix the silverfish problem.
