Harbour Retreat at Cormorant View - Luxury Lodge with Hot Tub - Hayling Island - Mill Rythe Holiday Village

Very clean and very well equipped. Very quiet position. We found it so relaxing. Hot tub well screened so very private. Excellent communication from host who went over and above to make our stay exceptional

The lodge is better than the photos, super modern and clean, kitted out with everything you could possibly need and the double bed was so comfy! Plenty of towels given for bathroom and hot tub usage, which was really handy. The hot tub, lovely extra treat, clean and super warm, this is outside on the decking but tucked in a private corner and there is still plenty of outside space for dining/socialising. Car park space right outside. Little duck pond at the end of the ‘road’ and there is plenty to do on the holiday site too with a bar/restaurant food was really nice and plenty of options - we could have happily eaten here multiple nights, indoor swimming pool and soft play for children. Although the lodges are a car park space apart, we still felt like we had privacy and weren’t on top of other lodges or super overlooked. The beach is less than a 10minute drive away. There was also a cute farm shop a short drive away with make your own fresh milkshakes! It didn’t feel like a lodge it felt like a mini home! We were blown away!

The lodge certainly holds the heat, which in the summer isn’t ideal - opening the doors/windows as soon as it drops in the evening helped create some air inside but it didn’t help we were apparently blind and missed the massive fan in the lounge until our last morning when we were tidying up! Just something to be mindful of if you struggle in the heat. The only real downfall was the shower size/pressure, the shower itself was actually what you’d expect in a typical lodge but because everywhere was beyond expectations it just stood out, the pressure wasn’t great especially compared to the taps and once you were inside it was very snug

It's been about 30 years since I last stayed in a static caravan and they have come a long long way. The location is great, the site is lovely to walk around. The home itself is beautiful, clean and extremly comfortable. We stayed two nights but we could have easily spent longer here

Not a bad word to say

Immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean a very well presented property. A great hot tub included on the decking which the hosts checked every other day for correct chemical levels and cleanliness. Parking for two cars adjacent to the property which is in a great position within the site.
