Loved that the parking was right out front. I love the retro vibe, but yet it still felt modern inside.
Everything was great (clean, friendly customer service, thoughtful touches) except...the shower head is weirdly set to about 5 feet or maybe even shorter! I am fairly short myself but I had to squat a bit to wash my hair. I just found it odd and that taller people should know.

This was a perfect stop on our Route 66 trip. Room was very clean and the staff were welcoming.

Owners and managers work hard to ensure this 1939 motor court is as authentic as it was when Clark Gable stayed here in 1942… decor, tiled baths, furniture, lighting… spotlessly clean and well kept.
I’m a light sleeper. Carthage is a town with a scarcity of car mufflers. Jana, the manager, graciously moved me to a quieter room.
