Royal Villa Polhena

honestly one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka Amazing Stay – 10/10, We Will Definitely Come Back! The villa was very clean, comfortable, and felt completely safe during our entire stay. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and well-working air conditioning. The location is perfect just a few meters from the beach and within walking distance of nice restaurants. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The sea is calm because of the corals, which makes it perfect for snorkeling. We were lucky to see many fish and even several large turtles! Breakfast was delicious.The owner were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. Mr. Abey took excellent care of us and made sure everything was perfect. We rented bicycles nearby for 500 rupees per day and easily rode everywhere. It is truly great value for money. We are already planning to come back next year! Highly recommended!

mooie grote kamer met goed werkende airco er was een douche en een bad lekker ontbijt op slechts paar honderd meter van het strand, waar we tijdens het snorkelen meerdere grote schildpadden hebben gezien wandelafstand van lekker restaurants

AWSOME Place! The owner who built the place was there to greet me and I was totally impressed by how nice the place was! The “buffet all you can eat Breakfast” was amazing! I walked to the nearby Beach and I am 75 years old… I also walked to a little place nearby where I rented a Honda Motorbike and explored the area with ease! The nearby “Green Turtle Snorkeling Center” had me feeding four (4!) turtles right off the beach! (See pic) OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Highly recommend Polhena Beach!

Well, unfortunately the owner lives in Colombo and his staff, although humble, friendly and helpful… speak very little English… and I didn’t have my trusty translator. So after the second day there, he left … and watching TV (The World Cup Cricket Championships were held in Sri Lanka) wasn’t on my mind. No complaints about the service or anything else!

Kamer was ruim en schoon. Ruime badkamer met warme douche. Middelmatig formaat balkon. Dichtbij het strandje, 5min lopen, enkele restaurants in de omgeving.

Geen sfeer, personeel sprak niet of slecht Engels.
