Everything! This cottage, as soon as we pulled up, made us smile, it was picture perfect, even roses around the door! Inside didn't disappoint either, really cosy, had Everything you needed for our one week stay. We arrived very early, 12pm, we were only going to find the cottage, then go off and get some lunch, as we weren't supposed to arrive until 4pm, but Penny our host, and a rather gorgeous 4 legged friend, Bella,was tending to the garden, and said we could go in as the cottage was ready. Penny was a lovely lady and made us feel really welcome. The cottage has two bedrooms, one double and a twin, which had french doors to the garden, we chose to sleep in this one, the beds were really comfy, and the linen was of good quality cotton, 👌. We had our own entrance, and plenty of space to park, all separate from the main house. The views surrounding the cottage were amazing, if like us you love quiet and space, it was looking out over fields for miles !🥰 You can take a walk back down the lane and turn left, keep walking for a few minutes and you'll come to a village shop, which is even open on Sunday morning, very useful. All in all, I cannot recommend this property enough, it's idyllic! We certainly hope to wouldn't hesitate to return 😊. X

Sharing the bathroom with an army of ants! Because of the hot humid weather, it was unfortunate that it was attracting these unwelcome visitors, who are harmless but, a nuisance, Penny did tell us if we had any problems to let her know, but we felt an Ant invasion was something that didn't warrant troubling her with, it actually became something of a challenge trying to deter the little devil's by way of a drop of hand soap on there entrances! I think we cracked it by the end of the week. 😂
