Huge property, great location. Very pleased

That i didn’t stay longer!

• location location location close to everything we needed • facilities were lovely, plenty of tea/coffee/supplies such as salt/pepper/spices. Cook books and lots of kitchen utensils • I always love having a dishwasher, hands down the best invention when you’re on a break •aircons, work amazingly! Definitely needed in the summer • we loved the split level such a great use of the space they have •good size yard given the size of the block •amazing sunsets from the balcony! Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of it. •The hosts really did seem to care when I had questions to ask or concerns.

There were a few issues I had, Ted (host) was great and reassuring and receptive. My checking in instructions didn’t come through but he was receptive and answered the phone and told me how to check in. I was a tad annoyed when all the dishes were left in the dishwasher and hadn’t been put away prior to my arrival and I had to get them out to use them. They were clean though. I’m sure the hosts will be more on to the cleaning crew and will ensure the facilities are amazing for future clients.

The sunset view, the parrots every morning and nights come down to the garden and driveway to eat from the trees, great location from Scarborough beach and the amazing public swimming pool.

Space to park our car. Secure. Comfortable beds. Laundry and outside clothes line. Plenty of space inside the property to spread ourselves. Excellent to have plenty of towels.

There were inside property maintenance issues. I was able to contact the owner with these issues needing attention. He thanked me for bringing it to his attention and later followed this with photos of work being done. This was after we checked out. I was pleased by this. Initially on arrival, entering this large property, we were met with a wall of hot air. The outside temp was 34 C + . It would have been much more pleasanter for the AirCon to be on. I was surprised there were no ceiling fans in the main 3 downstairs rooms. Instead there were 2 pedestal fans. With the help of 2 upper level air conditioners ( bedroom and lounge) on continuously, by the following morning the ambient temp made it more comfortable. I feel it was overpriced given the maintenance issues and it’s overall presentation.
