Lovely central 2 bedroom apartment with terrace

The apartment is lovely, in a really nice setting. It is a little bit out of the way, but close to the lovely Priestvannet area where you can walk (or ski in the winter) and according to the signs you can walk into the city centre from there, and it's only a few kms. The beds were comfy, the bathroom spotless, and the lounge/dinning area is lovely for relaxing in the evening. The kitchen had everything needed for self catering which makes for a more budget-concious trip in Tromso. We were also able to do some laundry mid stay which helped us. There is underground parking for guests at the complex, having been in Tromso with a car previously, I was prepared for parking being expensive and difficult but this was fine for us. The owner is friendly and approachable, able to answer our questions during our stay, and because we are staying in their lived-in home, it means that it has absolutely everything you need. Overall I sum up our stay as a lovely homely experience, and I particularly enjoyed being a little part of Norweign day-to-day living rather than just a tourist in a clinical hotel. .

It is slightly odd that some of the owner's things were still around the apartment, but it made for a homely experience and it didn't bother me, my partner found it a bit more weird.
