DHAKAR Homestay

The room was nice with a great balcony ... It had a peaceful ambience.

The kitchen was not operating due to some personal emergency of the owner but it was not communicated to us earlier ... They told us only when we reached ... And the location on the map shows the property next to the main road but in reality it's located down a steep hill road ... New drivers might find it difficult to navigate .

I will rate this one among the best ones in my two decades of travel. We stayed in the property for 3 nights. We were touched by homelike treatment and exceptionally kind nature of the host. She was always available and willing to help. We enjoyed home made food and never really felt that we are living in guess house. It was liking we are living in our relative's house and enjoy our time being there. We will strongly recommend our friends to stay here. We appreciate hospitality of the host.

LOCATION IS A LITTLE OFF-BEAT AND TRICKY TO FIND EVEN WITH GOOGLE MAPS, BUT WITH A LITTLE PATIENCE AND GOOD DRIVER, YOU WILL GET THERE. OWNER IS VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. BEDDING IS VERY WARM & COMFORTABLE IN THE COLD NIGHTS. BREAKFAST OPTIONS ARE LIMITED BUT FRESHLY MADE AND GOOD. ENJOYED THE STAY.

DAILY HOUSEKEEPING CAN BE PROVIDED.

The stay is nice and clean.

The room charges were increased by the host two days before reaching Tawang and i had no option and time left to lookout for another hotel/stay at the last moment as i was travelling. Also, good stays or hotels are usually sold out atleast a month ahead in Tawang. I had booked the stay more than 15 days before the trip and never experienced such thing before in my life. They could have simply cancelled it at least a week before if they think they need to revise the prices.
