Staff went out of their way to help. Lovely spacious room with a view to neighbouring fields and animals. Good location. Comfortable bed, nice hot shower. Good breakfast.

Our stay was disappointing in several ways. While the room itself was comfortable and well designed, it was freezing. There was heating, but the warm air rose to the ceiling and the room never felt properly warm. The WiFi in our room didn’t work. We were told someone would come to fix it, but no one ever did. We booked last minute and our room faced a street overlooking a supermarket storage area and a building under construction. We understand the hotel may have been full, but it’s hard to justify charging a high rate for this type of room. We also ordered dinner, which took over an hour to arrive. I had to go to reception to ask about it. When it finally came, the chicken burger was very poor quality and definitely not worth the price. After dinner, we called to have the tray collected and were told to leave it outside the room. The next day, the tray with the dirty dishes was still there. The service overall was not particularly friendly. It felt like a large corporate hotel where the attention to detail and personal touch you find in smaller properties is missing. On a positive note, the restaurant has beautiful views and the breakfast was decent. There were a few Mediterranean-style options, although most dishes were quite heavy, such as chicken curry and similar plates.

Overall, for the price paid, the experience was quite disappointing. My recommendation would be to focus on improving service quality and staff attentiveness. There seemed to be plenty of staff, yet the service fell short of expectations.
