Trio Apartment

We found a nearby restaurant that was yummy and good so we were happy about our breakfasts. The apartment was immaculate and new and the host was communicative, responsive and friendly. The location was ideal for being outside of NYC but easy to travel from to get into NYC.

This time we were not looking to cook in the apartment but we often are when we stay in this type of arrangement and we were aware that the kitchen/cooking supplies were really minimal. The whole apartment felt like the bare minimal had been provided, even the number of towels. So that was a bit sterile feeling but it served our purposes for this trip and we did like the host a lot.

The apartment is very nice, very clean and quite comfortable. The location is a short uber trip across the bridge to get to Columbias medical campus in Washington Heights which was convenient for us. The facility has covered parking and is very safe. The host was very friendly and responsive. We found a local breakfast place not too far away which was excellent. It was quiet and had lots of natural light.

If we had wanted to cook as we often do when selecting an apartment instead of a hotel, the apartment was not quite as well stocked as most. Although pots pans and dishes were modern and clean, the selection was minimalist at best and basics like salt and pepper and oil,and vinegar were not provided. We missed having washcloths and tea towels and alternative blankets as the comforter on the bed was a bit warm. The host did not provide recommendations locally which were somewhat limited probably because so many people spend so much time in the City.

Hosts went above and beyond! Clean and spacious, very comfortable for either one person or a small family.
