Little Red Gate Urban Retreat

We’ve stayed in many accommodations, and this was by far the cleanest and most well-maintained place we’ve ever experienced. It was incredibly comfortable and truly felt like a home away from home. This unit is the size of a home — spacious, quiet, and beautifully presented with modern appliances throughout. What really stood out was the generosity with the snacks and food. There was popcorn, chocolate, chips, and even a full packet of high-quality coffee for the espresso machine — not just a few sachets like most places. Everything was thoughtfully stocked and made our stay feel extra special. Thank you as well for the lovely complimentary touches — we really appreciated them. We would absolutely love to stay here again when we visit Tasmania next time.

Thanks Reinhold and Alice. We enjoyed our stay and the Little Red Gate which is really well presented along with the added bonus of some goodies on arrival and items in pantry. Very well presented, clean and comfortable and affordable. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to base themselves in Kingston for a few days. Great location, close to shops and not far from Hobart.

We were on motorbikes so the on street parking wasn’t suitable. Thanks to our hosts they allowed us to park in the backyard which made our stay so much more enjoyable.
