About this house rental

Experience authentic Palm Springs living in this 1934 Spanish Revival gem- one of the city's first homes. Take a 7 minute walk to downtown or relax in total privacy. Enjoy a private pool and hot tub with stunning mountain views.
The main house is 1,580 sq. ft. with a 600 sq. ft. casita that offers even more seclusion, more amenities and extra space (coming 11/17/25.).
You just found the unique blend of history, charm and modern comforts for friends or family that's unlike anything else in P.S.

KITCHENS
There are two full kitchens: one in the main house and one in the casita. Both have microwave ovens, gas burner stove tops, ovens and a griddle burner. Our full-service kitchens have full sets of flatware, glassware and dinnerware. There's a stove-top popcorn popper, pressure cooker, cutlery set, cutting boards, cookware, bakeware and food storage containers. The refrigerators and spice rack have all the basics including condiments and cooking oils. We've provided a new coffee maker for coffee pods, coffee pot brewing, and hot water for tea. Fire Island teas from our sister property in New York are provided.

LIVING ROOMS
We've created an entertainment room with a 65" OLED LG TV, Sonos sound system and access to many apps via the TV. The pool through the arch window provides a great backdrop to movie watching. We've also provided games and cards for group entertainment.

BEDROOM AMENITIES
Casa Amor Del Monte has three bedrooms: two in the main house and a one in the casita. All three beds have new king-sized mattresses, duvets and multiple pillow types and sizes. Each bed has two nightstands with magnetic phone and watch charging.

BATHROOM AMENITIES
There are three bathrooms: two in the main house and one in the casita. The master bath has a dual vanity. Bathroom towels, shower floor mats, loofas, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bar soap are provided. Each of the six guests get two sets of bathroom linens. All bathrooms have brand-new walk-in showers.

CLOSETS
Every bedroom has a large closet. The master bedroom closet is walk-in sized. Wood and velvet hangers, a luggage rack, an iron, ironing board, outdoor clothes drying rack, and clothes steamers are provided.

WASHER & DRYER
The main house and casita each have high efficiency clothes washers and dryers. The bedroom closets have clothes baskets.

TECHNOLOGY
The walls in each room have 20-amp outlets with USB A and C chargers. Wi-Fi is 2GB fiber optic for personal and remote work efficiency. Wi-Fi repeaters are located throughout the property, so access is also strong at poolside.

POOL
The pool is five feet deep at one end and one foot deep at the wading deck. Due to the depth and structure of the pool, it is unsafe to dive or jump into the pool. In-pool chaise chairs, a side table and a pool umbrella are waiting for you on the wading deck. Pool towels and floats are provided. We are happy to heat the pool for guests. This must be scheduled in advance since it takes six hours to heat. Pool heating is $120 per day. Professional pool cleaning occurs on Mondays and Thursdays. We'd be happy to schedule additional cleanings on a pay-as-you go basis.

HOT TUB
The ten-person hot tub is attached to the pool. Since the system doesn't allow guests have access to the spa heater, we're happy to heat it upon request. This must be scheduled in advance with us (usually guests request 9 PM to 11 PM each night). It costs $20 per hour to heat the hot tub and takes an hour to reach 101 degrees.

AL FRESCO DINING
Outdoor dining is one of the best desert experiences. We've provided a brand-new dining table with seating for eight in the private back garden area. The pool deck also has a new lounge table, sofa and chairs. You have outdoor dinnerware and drinkware for eight. A gas grill is provided with grill utensils and food platters. A patio propane pole heater is provided for your outdoor comfort. A back up propane tank is included.

BAR FUN
You will have nice cocktail glassware for indoor entertainment and nice plasticware for outdoor entertaining on the pool deck. Due to the fire hazard of a 1934 wood house, there are no matches, lighters or ashtrays on the property.

SOUND SYSTEM
Sonos is available and is part of the living room theater experience. Per the City of Palm Springs noise ordinance, absolutely no sound devices (including phones playing music) are allowed outside of the house. Further, police citations are $500 per incident when sound from our property can be heard either on a neighbor's property or on the street in front of the property.

EV CHARGING
For your convenience, private pay-as-you-go EV charging is available in the driveway between 9 PM and 6 AM. Alternatively, there's an Electrify America rapid charging station two minutes away in the Bank of America parking lot.

PARKING
There is a private driveway for two-vehicle parking and plenty of street parking in front of the house. The City of Palm Springs ordinance does not allow more than three vehicles per rental period.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
A private chef, private massage therapy and a house cleaner for daily or periodic cleaning are available for guests on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Keyless entry exists on the entire property. You will be given a unique door code for entry into the front gate and the house doors. A wireless gate remote will be available during the rental period to close the gate once inside.

We are available for any questions or concerns from 11am - 9pm during your stay. We want to make sure you enjoy our house as much as we do!

The house is easily accessible from the 111, from Ramon, and via car or ride share. There is a bus stop on Ramon within a block of the house. The airport is a straight shot down Ramon and is 2.5 miles away. Plenty of street parking, and parking in the driveway behind the gate.

We absolutely adore this house and ask you treat it with the same respect as you treat your home.

City of Palm Springs City ID# of 033360.
NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
Number of overnight occupants = 6 + 2 children under 13 years of age.
Number of daytime occupants = 10 (excluding 2 children). Daytime guest hours are 9 AM to 10 PM.
Number of vehicles = 3 maximum.

NOISE RESTRICTIONS
Unfortunately, years of bad actors has resulted in all Palm Springs properties having incredibly strict noise ordinances. Here are the rules we all must comply with:
1. "Quiet Time" is defined by the city as between 10 PM PST and 9 AM PST. All outside activities must end promptly at 10pm. Please take all conversations inside after 10pm. If a city employee can hear you from the property line, it's a violation.
2. No noise making/amplification devices (including phones playing music or a phone call on speaker) are allowed outside of the home at any time.
3. Music and television programs can be played inside the home, but if it can be heard from the property line, it's a violation. Guests can receive violations which start at $500 per incident.
4. 1 responsible party that stays overnight, 3 overnight guests, and up to 3 additional daytime visitors are allowed.

INFO WE MUST COLLECT ON OCCUPANTS
The City of Palm Springs ordinance 2075, chapter 5.25.070(h) requires the homeowner to:
1. perform an in-person or a live virtual interview with the responsible party prior to the beginning of the occupancy.
2. get a copy of the responsible party's government issued ID.
3. document the responsible party's name, age and address.
4. get a signed acknowledgement from the responsible party that all occupants will adhere to the City of Palm Springs Vacation Statement of Rules & Regulations.
5. get a signed receipt from the responsible party for delivery of the Good Neighbor Brochure.
6. get a list from the responsible party of all vehicles (up to three) related to the stay - vehicle make, model, color and tag number.
7. get a signed contract between the homeowner and the responsible party (outside of the hosting platform) that includes several required disclosures to renters.

To make this simple on everyone, we manage all of the above required items electronically through the CPA firm Sloan Professional Services, LLC. Before the rental confirmation, you will receive via email a link allowing you to provide the above items. To accomplish this, we will reach out within the chat feature to obtain your email.

SECURITY CAMERAS
For security reasons, there are security cameras on the property that cover the utilities, driveway and back yard. These are Arlo Essential XL cameras that record video and audio. There are three doorbell cameras: the driveway gate entrance, the front door entrance and the casita front door entrance. For your privacy, the three pool cameras are covered with a black, non-see thru canvas camera cover and disabled before any occupancy begins. There are no cameras inside the house and outside cameras do not provide a view into the house. An occupant or guest tampering with any camera is grounds for eviction. If you have any questions or concerns about cameras, please don't hesitate to contact us.

CITY TRASH
The city will access the property twice on Friday mornings using their private gate code to dispose of the trash. They will take the trash bins located behind the casita to/from the street. This is a service we're required by the City of Palm Springs to have.

POOL CLEANING
Ray’s Pool Service will access the property twice using their gate code: once on Monday morning and once on Thursday morning. This usually happens around 9 AM. Guests can request to have the pool cleaned again (such as after a storm) at any time for a small fee.

LANDSCAPING
MH Landscaping will access the property using their gate code Monday mornings between 8 AM and 11 AM. They will use gas-powered leaf blowers and hedge trimmers around the entire property. This usually takes 30 minutes.
