Welcome to the Vermont 1828 Reunion House, a spacious and welcoming farmhouse on ten private acres just six miles from Okemo Mountain Resort. Built in 1828 and thoughtfully updated over generations, this home brings together old Vermont character and everything you need for a memorable ski trip or family retreat.

The house sleeps up to sixteen guests across eight bedrooms and four full bathrooms, offering plenty of space for everyone to rest and recharge after a day in the snow. Original wood floors and exposed beams run throughout, and the barn-style living room centers around a large wood-burning fireplace that invites fireside evenings and long conversations.

Mealtimes are easy and social here, thanks to two fully equipped kitchens with their own stoves, refrigerators, and prep space. A charming pass-through window connects them, making cooking and serving feel seamless. There’s a six-burner Wolf gas range, dishwasher, microwave, drip and French press coffee makers, blender, toaster, and plenty of cookware, utensils, and dishes for group meals. Whether you're fueling up for a ski day or winding down with a big pot of chili, you're covered.

There are two dining areas that make it easy to gather as a group or spread out for conversation and games. The adjoining garage has been transformed into a cozy game room with ping pong and foosball, and inside you’ll find a shelf full of books, classic board games, a TV for movie nights, and fast fiber internet. A dedicated desk area offers a space to catch up on work or emails if needed.

Outside, enjoy winter walks along the meadow, sledding on your own hill, or gathering around the fire pit beneath the stars. In warmer seasons, the grill and outdoor seating areas make it easy to take the day outside.

The home is professionally cleaned after every stay. Beds are made with fresh linens, towels are provided, and a washer and dryer are available. A town-certified sprinkler and smoke alarm system was installed in 2024, and there’s plenty of room for parking in the private driveway.

Close to the shops and restaurants of Chester and Ludlow, the 1828 Reunion House is a place where ski boots line the entryway, meals are shared around long tables, and evenings stretch out by the fire. Whether you're here for first tracks or simply to slow down and reconnect, this home offers comfort, space, and the quiet kind of charm that keeps people coming back.
