About this apartment rental
Escape the bustle of daily life and recharge at this peaceful cottage. Unwind in the cozy cottage or take in the sound of nature in the garden. Whether you are wanting to adventure to nearby hiking trails or sip a cold beverage on a sandy beach, this centrally located cottage lets you take in all the sights. 15 minute drive to Qualicum Beach, 20 minutes to Parksville and 55 minutes to Mount Washington
The Cabin:
Studio style guesthouse located on our half acre property. Located in North Qualicum, about 15 mins from Qualicum Beach.
Open concept with bedroom, kitchen, living and dining area all contained in one large room. Kitchen is fully equipped with full size fridge, oven/stove, toaster, french press and many more essentials needed for home cooked meal. Coffee, tea, cooking oil and basic seasonings provided. Sleeping accommodations include one queen size bed. Living area includes comfortable couch and smart tv with wifi. A small selection of books and games are also available. Three piece bathroom (no tub). Air conditioner and washer/dryer in cottage (laundry soap provided).
The Property:
To enjoy the great outdoors the cabin offers a small outdoor seating area just outside the cabin. There is also a large fire pit (firewood provided) with seating. There are lots of birds especially hummingbirds and swallows that live on the property so I highly recommend having a morning coffee out there to take it all in!
Please feel free to walk around the garden and help yourself to any fruit or veg that is in season. We have apples, peaches, pears, strawberries (honestly the sweetest strawberries I have ever had in my life), raspberries, figs, blackberries, salmon berries, kiwis, goose berries, red currant, boysenberry.
Towards the back of the property there is a large grassy area in which your pets are welcome to run around.
Guest Access:
You will have access to your private cottage and patio located directly outside of the cottage. You will also have access to a large outdoor fire pit and chairs and large grassy area. Please feel free to walk around the gardens and help yourself to any veg or fruit when in season. Off street parking.
Pets are welcome!
We ask that you keep your pet on a leash when out in the garden area. There is a large grassy area in the back of the property where pets are welcome to run around. The entire backyard is fully fenced for your pets security. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your pet.
Other things to note:
Wifi works great but cell service can be a bit spotty at times.
The cottage is on a well and on septic. We kindly ask that you help us conserve water during the hot summer months and please don't flush anything other than pee, poo and tp.
Lots of wildlife in the area! Please be mindful and respectful.
Our resident cats, Fang and Willie roam the property. They are both very friendly and will most likely come up to you looking for a chin scratch.
