About this cottage rental
Inside, the farmhouse has everything needed for a comfortable stay. There's a living area with a fireplace, a bathroom with underfloor heating and a good shower, and a kitchen with a Range cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, and all basic utensils. The property includes Wi-Fi, central heating, a TV, and one bedroom for two guests.
The farmhouse is located within an RSPB Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in Snowdonia. Guests can enjoy clean air, natural spring water, and dark skies ideal for stargazing. Dolgellau is a small market town in Gwynedd, northwest Wales, set on the River Wnion at the foot of Cadair Idris within Snowdonia National Park. Dolgellau is a popular base for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and exploring the surrounding mountains and trails. It has a good selection of shops, cafés, and pubs, making it a welcoming stop for visitors. Pandy Farmhouse is located just outside the town, in the Islaw'rdref area, only a short drive from Dolgellau itself. The farmhouse enjoys a peaceful setting surrounded by woodland and countryside, yet remains close enough to town for easy access to local amenities and attractions.
This property is the heart of the farm and a true haven for adventure-seekers. With its earthy charm and rustic character, it offers a genuine countryside escape for those who love nature and the simple, rugged beauty of rural life.
Access to the yurt is via a one-mile gravel track through RSPB-protected oak woodland, part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The track is steep with a hairpin turn, so a 4×4 is essential, especially in winter. Vans cannot access the site.
