David and Julie White have been married for over 20 years and always dreamed of owning and operating their own business. David is a licensed contractor with a background in residential construction and home remodeling, Julie just finished a Bachelor’s degree in Business from BYU-Idaho. They thought it was the right combination to begin building their dream together. In 2018, they found the perfect property in Island Park and began building this cabin. David and Julie, along with their daughters, have worked together to bring this dream to reality. They hope you enjoy your time in Island Park, as you “experience the west” with them.
Only 25 minutes from West entrance into Yellowstone National park and close to Henry's Fork on the Snake River. The cabin is also within 5 minutes of restaurants, gas station/grocery, ATV/Snowmobile rentals where you can grab anything you may need or the pesky little things you may have forgotten.
There isn't any public transportation in the area so you'll need to have a vehicle to get around. There are 700+ miles of trails that you can ride motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles etc. which are available for rent at High Mountain Adventures just around the corner.
From November to April you can depend on snow in Island Park. The roads are plowed well, but it would be a good idea to bring a vehicle that works well in the snow. A 4-wheel drive or AWD is recommended.
