Experience the wonders of Island living when vacationing at Frisco Fantasy. In a small town, situated between Buxton and Hatteras, is the village of Frisco (formerly known as Trent). This area is rich in history and Hatteras Island lore. The Hatterasman, the subdivision where this home is located, is famously named after one of the most classic books ever published about the Island. This Island-famous work of literature was also awarded the 1958 Mayflower Award.
Only 700ft away from the ocean, experience a beach opportunity like no other in this Island getaway home! At night, when the stars come out, take in the midnight views, map the skies full of constellations, make a wish on a shooting star, or spot the Milky Way on the top-level deck. Just inside is a cozy living room that is ideally laid out for having evening game, or movie, nights with the whole crew.

House worked out well for extra family members on our vacation - we own a house in Frisco close to this property. My one disappointment/complaint is the extremely late check-in. 5 PM is very late for arrival day. I rent my home and guests have access by 2 PM. If we did not have our personal residence for the day 5 PM check-in, would have been a problem.

I was a little nervous pulling up to the house because on-line pictures can be a little misleading. This house was great, the cleanliness, the closeness to the beach, etc. My family and I had a great time.

We had an amazing time at this house. It’s spacious, the kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies/utensils (& even spices), & has lots of different books, puzzles, and games for entertainment for the kids (& adults!). We especially appreciated the extra beach chairs and tent as we accidentally forgot our beach shade at home. The walk to the beach was short & easy (pretty steep up the dune which might be difficult for those with mobility issues) but even our 4 year old walked back & forth without asking to be carried. Definitely recommend this home!
