Waterfront home close to the beach and local attractions

Close to the beach. Clean and comfortable.

Had no idea we’d be staying in a racist area. The looks the stares the police being called on my kids because they were invited to play basketball at the hotel across the street by two Caucasian kids ( us being a mixed race family of all shades and colors ) I mean it was just absolutely ridiculous. The trump signs being plastered on all the boats or outside the homes ( not saying all trumpers are racist, but let’s be real here) we will not be returning to Topsail ever again. The home itself was ok. A little dated on the outside. Door entry way wasn’t the easiest to open with the code. Bathrooms were tight. Bottom floor bedrooms were nice. Even had a balcony. 2nd floor was living and kitchen. It was spacious. Ants did like the kitchen sink. The balcony was lovely. Had a one person canoe to the lake around back. It was beautiful. Kids enjoyed that. Top floor was another bedroom. Bathroom was so small once you exited the shower, you were met with the toilet. Which was a tiny toilet btw. The mattress and mattress cover OMG so disgusting. I had to purchase my own bedding. Overall it was an ok trip.
