About this house rental

You will certainly find more than Somethin' Fishy at this 3,500+ square foot (including two screened porches) Kinnakeet waterfront home. Located on the quiet sound side, Somethin' Fishy is a short jump over the pond to the beach access. If you'd prefer to have fun on the water rather than in it, book a fishing charter and relax as you cast a line and embrace the scenic views.

If the fish aren't biting at the lake, try a refreshing dip in the private 32 x 14 cement pond (pool). The ground level has a carport, fish cleaning table, under-house entry, bath, and two bedrooms (bedroom one with pyramid bunk and bedroom two with a double plus trundle) with kid's TV. The elevator takes tired sportsmen to the huge octagon-shaped bedroom number three with a king bed, adjacent large bath, and covered deck on the second floor adjacent to a furnished recreation room with pool table, smart TV, wet bar, and full fridge. Main king bedroom number four has a private bath and deck access. Main bedroom number five is a suite with a king, private bath, walk-in closet, desk, and access to screened porch with a bubbly hot tub. The third level has a unique octagonal tower room with TV/DVD plus surround sound overlooking a whale of a room with tall ceilings, a half bath, lavish furnishings, and accesses two sundecks. Cook up Somethin' Fishy in this well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, nearby dining table, and screened porch. End your day of fish tales by snoozing in main queen bedroom six with a private bath.

Pool was amazing. House could use a bit of updating. Loved the location as well… great proximity to grocery, pier, beach, etc.

We enjoyed staying at Somethin’ Fishy! The pool area is perfect size for a family, the top floor is open concept with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen fridge doesn’t have much room and the TVs are a bit tricky to figure out but not the end of the world. We will more than likely stay again!

Party of 8 adults, teens, a two year old, 2 dogs. Location was great easy walk to the beach, not too overwhelming carrying things. We read the reviews prior to staying and we’re not expecting amazing cleanliness & post hurricane understandably more short staffed however I want to give a few things as a heads up for the price of this house- they have failed to keep up with the property. We found a rotten banana, leftover goldfish next to the bed in the drawers, dirty dishes, and dishwasher full from the previous family. Sand in both a hot tub and pool, including on the pool table. There was broken doors left mops upstairs that were dirty on the outside deck. My husband cut his hand on the door frame because it was bent off hanging. Rusted off broken doorknob to deck. The mosquitoes were so horrible we couldn’t enjoy the pool. multiple boards on the pool deck that were sticking straight up so we had to be vigilant with kids. grill caught on fire trying to make steaks& had to use the fire extinguisher, however they brought a new grill immediately the next day without issue so communication with that was great. Very, and I mean very minimal things provided** There was good dishware and pots and pans however, no basics. The dishwasher tabs were left over from the previous family, there was one dish towel. Overall would stay here again for the basic price but do not expect full relaxing there’s things to be vigilant about and cleaning to do. Love that it was dog friendly though.
