Refined coastal home surrounded by palms with large deck & athletic court access

Overall, we really loved this house! There’s a big nice park right across the street, which was fun for our kids. It’s walking distance to the beach, or if you choose to drive, there is lots of free beach parking and public beach access points, which is really nice and not something we have experienced at other beaches! The house is cute, had plenty of towels and things that we needed, was clean, the beds were all comfortable, and there were extra comfy blankets. There were bath products stocked. We did have two issues while there, though I’m sure these would not be regularly an issue. The main one was that our first morning there we found our coffee maker wasn’t working. We messaged back-and-forth with Casago, but unfortunately it took until our third day there before we finally were able to get a new coffee maker. Besides the inconvenience of having to drive to a coffee shop to get our coffee every day, we also spent about 30 on coffee. The other issue was that when we showed up there was a bad smell in the kitchen that smelled like rotten seafood. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We bought bleach and poured it down the sink, but that didn’t help. We eventually found a pan in the cabinet that seemed to have not been washed well and left wet. Once we cleaned the pan and cabinet, the smell eventually went away. I feel like the cleaning crew should have caught that and taken care of it. Despite that, we would recommend this rental and had a great week there!

We had a great stay! The house was spotless and comfortable, and the Casago team was incredibly helpful ahead of and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Slight issue gaining access to the property but they were very helpful. Nice home, excellent value!

I wish we could say it was great, but it wasn’t. I don’t get being a beach house and not offering any beach towels. The bunk room’s top bunk didn’t have a railing, rendering it useless/unsafe. The drain in the primary sink didn’t work, the light in the bunk room didn’t work. The host had very generic responses back with “we will check on it”. Then, sent someone who had no idea how to fix anything. He just walked around the house saying I have no idea how to fix that.It’s frustrating to pay so much money and feel like they just didn’t care as the responses very robotic. We also asked for a late checkout for all the inconveniences, and they said no. Even after the original communication said they will eat the cost to allow families to stay longer and make memories. I would not stay here again. It was simply a dwelling, it didn’t feel like any effort was made to make it “family- friendly”. We left our pack n play there for another family to use, and as a host, you would think they would be grateful, but they made us feel like it was a nuisance, when it reality, now they’re able to offer it to future guests. It was next to a playground.
