Amazing Modern Townhouse at Heart of Mount Waverley

The property was very clean and feels brand new. We loved having private garage parking and the location was also very good for us.

As we stayed during winter, the bedding was not warm enough. We all had to wear jumpers to bed on top of flannelette pj’s as we were all very cold. It would be worth adding extra blankets for guests for winter especially to make overnight sleeps comfortable. While the rooms were fitted with split system air con, we didn’t want to sleep with an air con on all night. There were no spare blankets, only spare thin summer sheets. A few other things we thought we’d mention; there is only one small bin for the whole 3 storey home and no spare bin liner so we had to reuse the liner and keep emptying the bin in the outside larger bins. There is no vacuum or dust pan so all the crumbs on the floor from kids eating we had no way of cleaning up off the floor for our stay. No bench spray cleaning products to wipe down the bench tops. It would be a good idea to consider having those extras. If people were to cook on the stove top, there are no cleaning products to spray and wipe down the areas so if you were frying for example, you can’t clean up any oil splashes. We chose to not cook partly for this reason so we didn’t use the facility to its fullest potential.

We had a pleasant stay at this holiday home. The location is excellent — it’s very easy to access and conveniently located near the train station. There are also plenty of nearby shops and cafés within walking distance, which made our stay very comfortable and convenient.

There are a couple of areas for improvement. Currently, only one trash bin is provided in the kitchen area. It would be more convenient if additional bins could be placed on each floor or in the bathrooms. In addition, the shower drain should be properly cleaned before new tenants move in. During our stay, the drain was clogged with hair stuck in the drain casing, which caused the shower water unable to drain out. Regular cleaning would help ensure a better experience for future guests.
