Tiny Cabin Under the Northern Lights

the location itself was super secluded, the view from the room is great. it had a microwave which i realize not a lot of places have one. they were super sweet and greeted us with chocolate because we were on our honeymoon!

i admit i’m not sure where i got confused but i didn’t realize the bed is a pullout couch lol. i understand it is listed as a tiny cabin but we have bad backs and it wasn’t super comfy, even with the mattress topper on it. and then i also have an insane fear of spiders and they were everywhere. i have a photo where there was eight on the door alone and it made for a very restless night (i know silly and stupid but nonetheless!) not much place to put luggage either tbh

Fantastic view, cosiness, little touches like the lavender with the bedding, the privacy with our own little car park area.

Nothing, it was perfect!

Commençons par le positif : l'emplacement est idéal sur la route entre Reykjavik et la péninsule de Snaefelness. Isolé et au bord de l'océan, la sensation d'immensité et le calme sont très agréables. La décoration est soignée et l'effet cocon est bien présent. L'hôte a des petites attentions appréciables pour notre arrivée.

Mais malheureusement la cabine a un défaut : elle est minuscule. Une fois le lit canapé ouvert, on marche sur les valises et il ne reste aucun espace. C'est d'autant plus dommage qu'il existe une 2e cabine accolée qui sert de débarras. Si celle ci était aménagée en vraie chambre, cela ferait vraiment toute la différence. En plus, le lit canapé est très inconfortable, donc la nuit est compliquée.
