This is a cozy apartment under a person's house. The decor is very cute. Location is nice--close to the freeway and hiking. The host was pleasant and offered extended checkout for the inconvenience of a nonfunctioning toilet, which was appreciated. The back yard is well-landscaped, but was under construction. The property would have been a good value for the area but for the major flaw.
The toilet barely flushed. It had extremely low water pressure and would require multiple flushes for even a tiny amount of toilet paper. This is such a major negative; it overwhelms the positives. Also, the lock on the front door does not work. If you choose to stay here, make sure the toilet situation is resolved because it creates stress when you're supposed to be on vacation.

The location was lovely, the host was communicative, friendly and accommodating, the place was homey and clean and almost perfect in every way
The fancy electronic toilet had trouble flushing even a single sheet of toilet paper

Difficult to get to unit, too many steps down, especially for older people. The location of the bathroom was inconvenient. Toilet function was very poor. It was a modern, but flush did not operate very well. Location of property was mot too good
